Can mufflers be repaired?
In most cases, yes. If the muffler shell is solid and the rust is only at a joint, we can cut the bad section out and weld in fresh pipe — usually a fraction of the cost of a new muffler. If the unit itself is shot, we will tell you straight up.
How can I make my car louder?
A few ways: a cat-back system, a louder muffler, removing or replacing a resonator, or a full custom build. We will chat through your goals — daily driver burble or full track snarl — and recommend something that sounds the way you want without losing your roadworthy.
What does a muffler repair cost?
Most muffler repairs sit between $150 and $400 fitted, depending on the car and what is needed. We are happy to put it on the hoist and quote you for free before any work starts. No surprises.
Do you do roadworthy-compliant work?
Yes. Everything we install is legal for the road in Victoria. If you are after a system that pushes the noise limit, we will tell you up front what is and is not compliant.
How long does a job take?
A muffler swap or factory repair is usually same-day. A full custom system depends on the build — most are turned around in one to two days. Drop in or give us a call and we will give you an honest timeframe.
Do I need an appointment?
For a quote, no — drop in any time during opening hours. For the actual work we will book you a time so we can get you in and out without you waiting around.
